"FM and PM are different but inseparable." – Justify the statement.
The expression for FM and PM are almost identical. FM and PM cannot be distinguished at a constant modulating frequency. However with change in modulating frequency fm, the modulation index of FM will change and that of the PM won’t. The Fm signal is generated by the Phase modulator and other hand PM signal is generated by the Frequency modulator. Hence FM and PM are different but not separable.
